Steve Bernstein is the President and vision behind Zenbu Media, a multi-media music company whose properties include Global Rhythm magazine, Relix magazine, Metal Edge, Metal Maniacs, Relix Records, the Green Apple Music & Arts Festival and Zendition, a digital publishing division.

Mr. Bernstein retired from Citigroup in March 2005 after a 23-year career in order to focus his full time and attention on his growing media company. He spent most of his career in fixed income sales and trading at Salomon Brothers, now Citigroup, in New York and Japan. In his most recent post, Mr. Bernstein served as Global Head of Securities Services and previously as Head of Business Continuity for Citigroup globally.

Mr. Bernstein also served as Chief of Staff to Michael Carpenter during the latter’s tenure as Chairman and CEO of Salomon Smith Barney. After heading the division of Asian Fixed Income, he then became Chief Administrative Officer in Tokyo from 1994 to 1999. He has a B.A from Boston University.

Mr. Bernstein has been profiled in Publishing Executive, Folio’s March 2007 Edition, Private Air magazine, Celebrityaccess.com and spoke at Folio’s 2007 publishing conference on “Big Ideas Track.”
